These are example numbers, not market rates. Replace every one with your own. Time your first ten jobs and adjust the assumptions under the method.
The method behind the numbers
Home clean. Standard hours = (bedrooms × 0.4 + bathrooms × 0.6 + square feet / 500 × 0.35 + 0.5 for the kitchen) × condition (light 0.85, average 1, heavy 1.35) + 0.25 per pet. The visit takes standard hours × the clean type (standard 1, first or deep 1.5, move-out 2). Price = hours × rate + add-ons, never under the $120 minimum, rounded to the nearest $5, plus travel. Recurring visits are standard hours × rate, less 15% weekly, 10% every two weeks or 5% monthly.
Office bid. Hours per visit = square feet / production rate, rounded up to the quarter hour. Cost = hours × wage × (1 + payroll costs), plus supplies and overhead. Price per visit = cost / (1 − margin). Monthly = price per visit × visits a week × 4.33, rounded to $10. It warns when the gross margin is under 45% or the monthly price is under your floor.
Hourly rate. (Yearly goal + yearly costs) / (hours a week × weeks a year × (1 − share not billable)), rounded up.
All of these are starting assumptions from the kit's pricing workbook. They are not market rates for any area. Your own timings, after ten or so jobs, are better than any of them.
